Monkey with Banana

It's time for another birthday present for baka-kiiro; part 1! I actually gave her the gift early because we celebrated our birthdays together, but wanted to post this on the day of her official birthday. However, I didn't get the chance to, so it's a day late... ; v ; Anyhoo, I found this pattern by LuvlyGurumi a long while back and I wanted to make this for Kash's birthday. It was an interesting pattern to work with because I always wondered how LuvlyGurumi made her dolls have this hooded-like feature. It turns out that the piece was made separated and attached as a hood. It's not pictured here but if I were to remove the hood, it would be bald I just realized that I placed the eyes too far apart, but I hope that's not a problem The pattern also came with the banana, so it was nice to create a little friend for her new monkey!
